On Oct. 11, 2015, Great Park Neighborhoods® hosted its second annual Pumpkin Glow to the delight of approximately 1,000 families in the community.
During the event, residents of all ages gathered in Pavilion Park to carve pumpkins in a festive atmosphere alongside their neighbors and celebrate the Fall season. Once the carving was complete, the pumpkins were lit and displayed for one night, filling the park with a magical glow and creating a unique community bonding experience.
Great Park Neighborhoods hosted its first Pumpkin Glow on Oct. 25, 2014. The event was recorded by Guinness World Records as the “Longest Consecutive Line of Carved Pumpkins” – 1,510 pumpkins. The 2014 Pumpkin Glow, which was open to the public, drew roughly 16,000 visitors to Pavilion Park.
Given the growth of Great Park Neighborhoods, the 2016 Pumpkin Glow is planned to be held in Beacon Park to accommodate more guests – and pumpkins.
