Valencia’s Back to the Bowl

An event hosted in the world’s entertainment capital could quickly and easily be forgotten. Instead, this community made a splash with their biggest event to date. A departure from the traditional promotional avenues, the community’s sponsorship of Back to the Future Live at the Hollywood Bowl became the Bowl‘s first-ever sponsorship from the real estate industry.

In the week leading up to the event, a digital campaign made it an online and offline brand experience in an untapped market for the community, and sole sponsorship meant the community had the spotlight for the sold-out event.

A 17,000-strong crowd was given a taste of the neighborhoods’ lifestyle with vibrant displays, engaging brand ambassadors, promo items and collateral pieces as well as community videos on constant loop before the show, during intermission and after the show. The prestige of such a high-profile event brought this community into focus for a dynamic new audience.
