Great Park

Spanning approximately 2,100 acres in Orange County, Great Park Neighborhoods® is located in coastal Southern California between Los Angeles to the north and San Diego to the south. Great Park Neighborhoods in Irvine provides a holistic mix of residential, commercial, educational, and recreational facilities offering residents of all ages and backgrounds a place to call home and fostering a deep sense of community among all generations. As a demonstration of its commitment to education, FivePoint is funding, designing, and building up to five state-of-the-art schools for its younger residents within Great Park Neighborhoods. Solaira, the first offering of affordable housing within Great Park Neighborhoods is restricted to residents 55 and older, which enables families to reside all within one community, preserving crucial multigenerational ties. These units are part of the more than 1,000 affordable housing units that will be located within Great Park Neighborhoods when it is fully developed.

Each park within Great Park Neighborhoods will feature a unique educational theme, celebrating distinctive aspects of the diverse and storied land on which it is built. Varied destination elements will encourage residents to visit parks outside of their own neighborhoods, providing a feeling of adventure and deepening the sense of connection across the community. In the midst of Great Park Neighborhoods is the Orange County Great Park, owned by the city of Irvine, which, at 1,300 acres, will rank as the largest metropolitan park in the United States – almost twice the size of Central Park in New York City. FivePoint is developing on behalf of the city of Irvine more than half – 688 acres – of the Orange County Great Park.
