Daniel C. Hedigan
Chief Executive Officer
Daniel C. Hedigan was appointed Chief Executive Officer in February 2022. Mr. Hedigan has more than 40 years of experience as a land development executive and practicing attorney, including 32 years at Irvine Company where he helped develop one of the nation’s largest master-planned urban environment on approximately 64,000 acres in Orange County.
He most recently served as President of Land Sales and Homebuilding at Irvine Company from 2013 to 2021, where he led design, construction, entitlement, finance, accounting, sales and marketing, customer service, design center operations and project management teams through all phases of the development process.
Mr. Hedigan also served in various positions of leadership for Community Development operating groups at Irvine Company, including roles as Executive Vice President, Irvine Pacific / Residential Land Sales; Executive Vice President, Land Sales and Marketing; Senior Vice President, Land Sales and Marketing; Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary; and Vice President and General Counsel.
Previously, Mr. Hedigan held general counsel roles at California Pacific Homes, American Real Estate Group, and Bracton Corporation. He began his career in private practice at a firm in Newport Beach and is a member of the State Bar of California.
Active in his community and industry, Mr. Hedigan has served on the California Building Industry Association’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee; on the School of Social Sciences Dean’s Council at University of California, Irvine; as an Advisory Board Chair at the Economic Self-Sufficiency Policy Research Institute; and on the Leadership Council of United Way as part of its United to End Homelessness initiative.
Mr. Hedigan holds a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from UC Irvine, and a J.D. and a Master’s degree in Economics from UCLA.
