Great Park Neighborhoods® will ultimately include affordable housing for more than 1,000 residents across many age ranges. Solaira, which opened in Novemeber 2015 is reserved for individuals over 55, and features 221 units. Solaira is the first senior affordable housing complex to be built in Irvine in 20 years. By enabling seniors to live near their families, Solaira encourages lasting, multi-generational ties.
